What is it ?

It is a deposit bank account that allows you to save your money and receive remuneration. It also allows you to carry out deposit, withdrawal and cashing operations by cheque. 

Eligibility 
Any adult natural person.
Conditions 
The initial payment when opening an account must be at least 5000 DA;
Subsequent payments: payments are free with the possibility of automation.

FAQ

The opening of a BDL savings account is to be carried out at branch level, by any natural person.
The formalities for opening a BDL savings account for a minor can be completed by their legal representative.
Withdrawals are made by the latter on the basis of presentation of the booklet and a valid official identity document.
The minor child, as soon as he comes of age, is the only one authorized to make withdrawals or any other person authorized by him.
The holder of a BDL savings account can give power of attorney to a third party to make withdrawals.
The amount of the payment when opening a BDL savings account cannot be less than 5,000.00 dinars, and the account can be funded by:
1. Payments made in cash;
2. Receipt of bank or postal transfers;
3. Cheque cashing.
Transactions on the BDL savings account must not be backed by acts of commerce or commercial transactions.
Withdrawals made in cash at the Agency counter, where the savings account is opened, are made by means of the counter cheque (savings account) by the holder himself or by his representative.
The renewal of the savings account is carried out in the following cases :
The use of all the pages of this booklet;
The deterioration of the savings account.
When an Agency is notified of the loss or theft of a savings account, it must have the representative or the holder of the savings account, as the case may be, sign a declaration. It will then issue a new savings account.
