BDL Inaugurates its Skills Development Center in Blida: A Strategic Investment in Human Capital
As part of its strategy to develop skills and enhance its human capital, the Banque de Développement Local – BDL officially inaugurated, on Monday, July 21, 2025, its brand-new training center named “Skills Development Center”, located in Blida.
This modern facility, dedicated to learning and skills enhancement, was named in honor of Ben Maalem, former Director of Human Resources at the Bank, in recognition of his commitment and contribution to the development of talent within the institution.
A Tool for Operational Excellence
The Skills Development Center aims to strengthen the agility and performance of BDL’s teams in the face of the rapid transformations of the financial sector.
The center features:
- Four training rooms equipped with modern teaching materials;
- Accommodation with 38 beds to host participants in full immersion;
- A dining area, a terrace, and a relaxation corner to foster interaction and conviviality;
- A pedagogical banking branch for practical simulations and real-life scenarios.
