We are thrilled to announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Société d’Automisation des Transactions Interbancaires et de Monétique (SATIM) and the Banque de Développement Local (BDL). This collaboration aims to support the SATIM project, which seeks to process international bank transactions via Mastercard cards nationwide, utilizing SATIM’s processing center.

Recognizing the project’s significance for the Algerian economy, BDL, as a principal member of the Mastercard international network and project sponsor, has leveraged the latest and most reliable technologies to develop optimal payment solutions. This approach ensures transaction efficiency and speed while maintaining the highest security standards.

With this innovative system and Mastercard network membership, the processing of international bank transactions will now be localized in Algeria. This major initiative will reduce international transfer costs, accelerate processing times, and provide a seamless and secure user experience.
