The BDL Officially Inaugurates its Holiday Center in El Bettah – El Taref The BDL Officially Inaugurates its Holiday Center in El Bettah – El Taref On Thursday, July 31, 2025, the Banque de Développement Local (BDL) officially inaugurated its Holiday Center dedicated to its employees, located in the El Bettah area, municipality of Ben M’hidi, in the wilaya of El Taref. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, the Wali of El Taref, local elected officials, civil and security authorities, as well as senior executives of the Bank. In his speech, the BDL’s Chief Executive Officer emphasized that this project is not simply a tourist facility, but rather embodies a strategic vision focused on enhancing human capital: “This complex is not merely an architectural development or an additional service. It is the expression of a strong conviction: that investing in people is just as essential as any other material investment.” Covering an area of 30,000 m², the Center includes: 144 accommodation units of various types (F2, F3, duplex)Three swimming pools, leisure areas, a restaurant, a café, a multimedia room, a healthcare center, and a modern administrative building. This environment is designed to provide all BDL staff and their families with a space for relaxation, rest, and the strengthening of social bonds, in accordance with quality and hospitality standards. The CEO also warmly thanked the Minister of Tourism for her support of such initiatives, where social development and the national tourism vision converge. He expressed his gratitude to the Wali of El Taref for his constant support and decisive involvement in bringing this project to fruition.
