The Local Development Bank – BDL is fully committed to financing the agricultural sector through the signing of historic agreements between the Ministry of Agriculture and public banks. Supervised by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Abdelkrim Bouzred, and the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Youssef Cherfa, this initiative marks a new step towards the generalization of banking support for agricultural projects.<\/p>

As part of the framework agreement signed in December 2023, this measure implements the directives of the President of the Republic, aiming to enable all public financial institutions to actively contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.<\/p>

Through these agreements, BDL will support the national plan for the development of strategic crops and strengthen food security in Algeria. By facilitating access to tailored financing solutions under favorable conditions for farmers and investors, the bank plays a key role in modernizing and diversifying the national agricultural sector.<\/p>

BDL reaffirms its commitment to supporting agricultural project holders and promoting sustainable economic growth through targeted and accessible financing.<\/p>
